What does an anxiety attack feel like? Panic attacks and anxiety attacks can affect you in in quite a few different ways. STEP 1:Do your homework
Plan and think about your content. Think big, have a vision of at least a 100 page site. The pages should have “real content”, as opposed to link pages, resource pages, about/copyright… etc pages.
STEP 2:Buy Domain name:
Invest in an easily brandable domain. You may want “google.com” and not “mykeyword.com”. Keyword domains will go no where, whereas branding and name recognition are the in thing. The value of keywords in a domain name have never been less to Search Engines. Get them
STEP 3:Site Design:
As a rule of the thumb: develop for MS Internet Explorer. As for text content, it should out weigh the html content. Spiders are not to the point they really like eating html 4.0 and the mess that it can bring.
Use less of these heavy stuff: flash, dom, java, java script. Go external with scripting languages if you must have them – there is little reason to have them that I can see – they will rarely help a site and stand to hurt it greatly due to many factors most people don’t appreciate (search engines distaste for javascripts is just one of them).
Arrange the site in a logical manner with directory names hitting the top keywords you wish to hit.
Don’t clutter and don’t spam your site with frivolous links like “best viewed” or other counter like junk. Keep it clean and professional to the best of your ability.
Visit Google.com and learn from them. Simple is retro cool – simple is what surfers want.
Your site should respond almost instantly to a request. If you get into even 3-4 seconds delay until “something happens” in the browser, you are in long term trouble. That 3-4 seconds response time may vary for site destined to live in other countries than your native one. The site should respond locally within 3-4 seconds (max) to any request.

STEP 4:Check Page Size:

Link to on topic quality content across your site. If a page is about food, then make sure it links it to the apples and veggies page. Specifically with Google, on topic cross linking is very important for sharing your Page Rating (PR) value across your site. You do NOT want an “all star” page that out performs the rest of your site. You want 50 pages that produce 1 referral each a day and do NOT want 1 page that produces 50 referrals a day. If you do find one page that drastically out produces the rest of the site with Google, you need to off load some of that pr value to other pages by cross linking heavily.
STEP 8:Put it Online:
Make sure the site is “crawlable” by a spider. All pages should be linked to more than one other page on your site, and not more than 2 levels deep from root. Link the topic vertically as much as possible back to root. A menu that is present on every page should link to your sites main “topic index” pages (the doorways and logical navigation system down into real content).
Don’t put it online before you have a quality site to put online. It’s worse to put a “nothing” site online, than no site at all. Go for a listing in the ODP. If you have the budget, then submit to Looksmart and Yahoo. If you don’t have the budget, then try for a freebie on Yahoo.

All too often important scientific work is shut down due to lack of funding and often that information is not made available to the scientific community because it is not fully proven yet and those working on the project want to hold onto the discoveries up to that point until future funds can be secured.
If that time of new monies for funding of that particular research never come, often those working on the project will have moved onto other research and eventually the data is forgotten and the money already spent has been wasted or covered up or never available to future researchers. This is a shame and it is too bad that people cannot get partial credit for the work done up until that point and someone cannot pick up the research and take it from there.
We could accelerate research in many fields if we made sure this sort of thing did not happen in our sciences. It is a real problem and an unfortunate circumstance indeed. Some one or some entrepreneurial company needs to act as a clearing-house for partially completed work and keep track of all the data, information and people involved for later. This would do many things.
First it could act as a resume enhancer for those who worked on failed projects due to funding not due to premise or concept. It could provide a return on investment for partial work and thus help other companies working in R and D to take more risks. It would benefit future researchers with a base of knowledge so they did not have to start at the beginning, or repeat certain known experimentation. Consider all this in 2006.

Experts from the United Nations and Indian Ocean countries agreed to set up a tsunami warning system to prevent a repeat of the catastrophe that struck on December 26, Unesco said.
A fully functioning system that detects undersea earthquakes and broadcasts warnings to coastal communities is expected to be in place by the end of 2006, said Patricio Bernal, executive secretary of Unesco’s Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission, on Tuesday.
“The Indian Ocean countries have agreed among themselves to set up an early tsunami warning system for the whole Indian Ocean basin,” Bernal said. The basin extends to the 11 southern Asian coastlines devastated by the December tsunami.
At a five-day meeting at Unesco’s headquarters in Paris, experts also laid out a timetable for the project and interim measures to help protect the region that was battered by the killer Asian tsunami.
Japan and the United States are to begin providing alerts on seismic activity to the region starting on April 1. The two countries have the world’s most advanced tsunami warning systems, and a UN-co-ordinated network based in Ewa Beach, Hawaii, issues alerts for 26 Pacific Ocean nations.
Could be extended by 2007
Experts say a similar system in southern Asia would have saved many lives in the Dec 26 disaster.
Work will also begin on installing systems that can detect changes in sea level and broadcast the information in real time to countries in potential danger.
Tidal gauges will be installed at six sites, mainly off the coasts of hard-hit Indonesia, Thailand and Malaysia, Bernal said. Another 15 existing sites will be upgraded around the region.
“We expect to have all those systems operative by October or November,” Bernal said.
A second Unesco-sponsored meeting will be held next month in Mauritius to finalise policy matters and broach divisive questions, including whether one country would host a disaster warning centre or if the responsibilities would be distributed across the region, Bernal said.
Member states plan to meet in June to formally adopt the plan, but work is getting under way immediately.
Officials hope to extend the system globally by 2007 to cover other regions at risk, such as the Caribbean, the Mediterranean and the southwest Pacific.

So, in this competitive world of web hosting where there are gigantic web-hosting companies to small-dedicated companies, how do you make your company stand, how do you grab a customer and hold it on for years to come.

Most hosting companies are tech savvy enough to provide adequate support to their customers, sure enough. However, the quality and warm service here faces a set back. It is true that answering support requests through a ticket desk or email absorb a generous portion of a host’s daily activity.
