Ways to Overcome Anemia

There are several ways to overcome Anemia. Some well known home remedies are the eating of dates or figs. Figs, or dates especially, have constituents in them to give your blood what it needs to build up & beat the anemia issue.

Some holistic practitioners caution the use of dates because some people have had issues with the dates effecting the enamel of their teeth. Others say that there is no danger to the teeth & point out that the Arabs eat dates & have never expressed complaints about problems with their teeth.

My friend Chandra was suffering from Anemia & her holistic practitioner suggested that she eat both dates & figs in her diet to build up her blood & to overtake the anemic tendencies.

She has been doing this for 6 months now & already her red blod cell count has improved markedly.She also has increased certain vitamins & minerals which include dandelion root & spirulina, vitamins B12 folic acic (also a B vitamin), & along with her dates & figs to include a couple of tablespoons of blackstrap molasses, once or twice daily, as molasses is very rich in the B vitamins. She also cut out candy & soft drinks to help with the issue.
